The Charmer by Autumn Dawn Review

chTitle:The Charmer

Star rating: 3.5/5

So what’s it about?

Whilst out camping with her friend, Jasmine stumbles into a world that exists across dimensions: A world with creatures that are not quite human – creatures who are stronger, faster and more capable than she is—but creatures who fear her and the ruin she can bring down upon them. Captured and made prisoner because of her unusual birth right Jasmine finds that there is no way home. But as her captor Keilor and she begin to realise… home is where the heart is.

Love it or hate it?

This was quite an enjoyable read. It was not a new subject matter but it was written in such a way as to keep my attention till the very last word. It is an extensive read and filled with adventure, escape, lust, love, friendship and a somewhat naïve protagonist who actually isn’t as naïve as she first seems.

An enjoyable distraction from an ordinary day!

Read this if…

  • You like shifter adventure romance
  • You want a new dimention of supernatural creatures
  • You enjoy reading about relationships between two people who seemingly despise one another  - that is until they don’t…

Favourite quote:

“Almond milk?” She made a face as she accepted it and poured a little in a tall crystal glass.

“What is this, planet of the health food junkies?” Wiley shrugged in apology. “No dairy animals.” Jasmine’s brows shot up.

“What? No whipped cream, no butter?” Frowning, she took a cautious sip from her cup.

“Ok, it’s not bad, but if someone whips out a brick of tofu, I’m leaving.”
