So what's it all about?

Eila Walker is an orphan and lives with her mum's best friend Mae.

They are struggling to get by so when Eila inherits a million-dollar house in Cape Cod they decide to move there.

Eila may come to regret that decision as she is drawn into a life involving immortal killers and family secrets.

Love it or hate it?

Undertow was an alright book.

The author's take on immortals was interesting and unique but I couldn't connect with the story despite the likeable characters.

There were some surprises that I didn't see coming and some that I did.

Overall a disappointing book with an interesting edge.
