So what's it about?
Meg Lytton is a witch. She is also servant to Princess Elizabeth Tudor who has been banished to Woodstock by her half-sister, the devout Catholic, Queen Mary.
Witchstruck follows Meg as she struggles to hide her secret not only to protect herself from being hanged by the local witchfinder Marcus Dent, who wants to make Meg his wife, but also to protect Princess Elizabeth who is under suspicion.
Love it or hate it?
The Tudor era is one of my favourite periods of history so I just had to read this book.
The mix of history and paranormal was intriguing.
Meg was likeable and the storyline kept my interest.
Overall I found this to be a good read but it didn't wow me.
Note: I received a copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thanks to Harlequin TEEN and Victoria Lamb.
